Erin, Patient Coordinator
Erin is a newcomer to orthodontics, starting in 2006. She was an engineer in her previous life with her bachelor’s degree in physics and chemistry from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, and now enjoys working in the orthodontic office with Dr. Biermann and Bernice. Her jobs include front office, financial coordinator, treatment coordinator, SureSmile scanner, office manager, bookkeeper, and lunch & learn presenter.
Erin enjoys sea kayaking, scuba diving and cooking. She and Dr. Biermann were married August 2007. Her warm smile and caring heart is who Erin is, and she is a wonderful asset to our office.
Bernice, Orthodontic Assistant
Bernice has worked in dentistry for over 25 years as an orthodontic assistant, front office, lab tech and dental assistant. She worked for Dr. Dick Carter for many years, and left to work for an orthodontic consulting firm. She decided to come back to working directly with patients because she enjoys all of you so much!
Her natural instinct towards organization and cleanliness has served her well in the dental field. Her wonderful sense of humor and energy add so much to our orthodontic team. And her ethics and dedication to quality patient care make her hands some of the most gentle in the business. And when it comes to braces, that is important!
Bernice has two children, the youngest just starting high school. She enjoys bowling, swimming, baking, tequila sunrises and walking in the woods.
