Dr. Biermann and staff are wonderful, the best! I started braces in 2013 as an adult with Dr. Biermann. The 18 month process was smooth with terrific results. Dr. Biermann and staff were always accommodating to my sensitive gag reflex. Since completing braces in 2015, I wear a bonded retainer wire behind front teeth to prevent teeth from moving. Over the years, the wire has come loose (sometimes lost) and Dr. Biermann will see me same day or day after to rebond the wire. Furthermore, when my dentist recommended I wear a nightguard, my dentist did not have the new scan technology and wanted to use old-school impressions which are difficult with a gag reflex. Dr. Biermann graciously performed the teeth scan and sent results to my dentist so I could get a nightguard. Dr. Biermann and team are always professional and caring with the highest customer service that I have enjoyed for almost 10 years now.

I just got my braces removed after a 19month stint of bite and jaw positioning correction. I was very pleased with the service and results provided by the team at Dr. Biermann’s office. I recommend them to any adult who need help with teeth and bite adjustments. I was surprised by the amount of correction available through simple brackets and rubber-bands.

I had gaps between my teeth and they are now perfectly aligned. People did notice the difference and asked me what I did. Doctor Briermann is good at getting constant feedback during every visit. I am glad he considered my inputs before ordering the weekly Invisalign sets. They provide assistance for 2 years once your teeth are aligned, which is good. But make sure you don’t lose the wires in the teeth as they wires when lost will cost you and is not covered as part of the assistance. I got all the gaps in my teeth fixed with a perfect bite and I can now smile confidently for pictures! 🙂

So grateful for the team at Biermann Orthodontics!! Although I had braces as a teen, over the years my teeth moved and it affected my bite and aesthetically it also bothered me. I considered orthodontics for years but was hesitant to pursue treatment thinking it was too expensive and I was too old, etc.. Luckily, we were referred to Dr. Biermann when my daughter needed to start treatment. After meeting the team it was clear this could be much easier then I originally thought. Everyone on the team is kind and knowledgeable. They strive for punctuality with appointments being on time or even earlier. Initially I was advised my alignment could take a year; here I am 4 months later, done with treatment and so happy with the results. I had orthodontic treatment when I was in Jr High and high school. My braces came off when I was 15 yrs old. My bite was not completely corrected. I was unhappy with my teeth and I told I would never be an Invisalign candidate. I went back to my orthodontist who did the original treatment and he also told me there was nothing that could be done. I was feeling pretty devastated. I went to Dr Biermann about 2 years ago. I was amazed. Not only did he say he could help me he also said we could correct my bite with Invisalign! I am a proud third-generation native of Portland, OR, and come from a family of dental health professionals. My father, Michael Biermann, is a pediatric dentist in north Portland, and my uncle, Bruce Biermann, is a general dentist in Sandy, OR.
When I’m not in the office, I can most often be found playing racquetball, running, hiking, or golfing. I enjoy reading, cooking, good wine, and eating at any of the many great restaurants Portland has to offer.
